Level III Pimsleur — this ISBN no. — and various other editions are available in a CD format, such as the starter unit in # 9 above.  The Comprehensive Series is the most complete version, and each level includes 30 lessons —  when the learner has completed this series he should look forward to handling complete conversations and be well on his way to mastering a language.  Few programs are as quick, convenient and effective as Pimsleur.

"Curso Intensivo de Español" I - V
is quite special, and not for the faint of heart !
It is not truly a "self-help" course for most students, and normally requires an instructor.  It dates from manuscript before World War II, and the present (2nd) edition is modeled on the 1959 edition. It is the backbone of many of the world's intensive courses in Spanish.  An advanced student could become encyclopedic in Spanish if he were to master this series of Libros I through 5 plus book 6, the Instructors Manual.  Imported, special order.
